Charity events are an essential dimension of a music festival, and MelaMatik is no exception. MelaMatik 2020 is supporting three charitable initiatives to allow you to party for a purpose.
Trek China (the Yorkshire Cancer Centre), the Bradford Association of Fostering and Adoption, and Busking For Cancer are worthy causes which exciting MelaMatik events are linked with. Rock and indie all-dayer at Delius Lives Next Door, should be a buzzing event, and the MelaMatik Transpennine Harps: Trek China Fundraising Concert (harp, song & early music) is raising cash for Trek China, which is a major fundraising initiative involving a lengthy trek around China, and last but not least, performers in the MelaMatik Busk Zones will be encouraged to donate to Busking For Cancer.

Outside of the festival, we recommend you support charity events such as Oxjam, and any other concerts, gigs, recitals and club nites that are seeking to raise money for worthwhile causes.
