MelaMatik Festival is the North of England's most exciting and diverse arts and music festival and takes place outdoors, in community centres, pubs, clubs, bars and theatres. Originating as a fringe for the world-famous Bradford Mela, MelaMatik covers not just Bradford, but surrounding districts including Wharedale, Kirklees and Calderdale, representing all musical styles under the sun including world music, rock, punk, funk, folk, reggae, techno, wurlitzer organ music, and everything in-between.

From gigs large to small, many free of charge, some paid, promoting and showcasing the best the region has to offer, helping to raise the profile of charity events and local musicians and promoters, MelaMatik is a revolutionary new concept in festival entertainment with over sixty venues and ninety events to choose from.
